According to the formal statement, "An unusual encounter leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where whispers of prohibited rituals and terrifying metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The storyline features a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a clandestine sect.
The mission centers on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Transformations
The teaser features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Extra Material
Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an special katana together with numerous objects secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
